This trip offers you a challenging mountain bike experience with passing the beautiful scenery along mountainside and its valleys. Encounter with local Red Dao ethnic, vising their village and take some great photos of landscape and people.

Itinerary

Begin your trip with a leisurely ride on quiet roads towards Thanh Kim village, enjoy beautiful scenery of mountains and rice terraces along the way. You will meet local ethnic communities in their villages, experience the charm of free-range animals roaming around. From here, prepare for a more challenging segment as you cycle uphill to Ban Phung village, the most remote area of Sapa.

You will be mesmerized by stunning views of terraced rice fields and lush green mountains. Stop for a well-deserved break at Ban Phung to rest and take in the surroundings.

After your break, enjoy an almost thrilling downhill ride back to Thanh Kim village. Refuel with a delicious meal before continuing your biking back along the same scenic route to Topas Ecolodge.

What to wear and bring:

It is recommended to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, sport shoes, and to bring insect repellent, sunglasses, sun hat, and sunscreen.

Note

When joining a tour, one of the most important parts is selecting the right bike. Topas Travel provides mountain bikes that are suitable for people from 155cm only. Client’s height is requested at the booking time or at least 24 hours in advance for smooth services.
Biking tours offer up and downhill segments. For safety, these tours are advisable for adults or children from 13-year-old up (For smaller children, please contact us) who are familiar with mountain road biking.

Due to wet condition, biking route will be slippery, so the itineraries are subject to change based on that.
