RICE WINE MAKING CLASS

Discover the rich tradition of Vietnamese rice wine!
Join our hands-on rice wine cooking class to learn the centuries-old process of making “ruou gao” or “ruou nep.” You’ll discover the cultural significance of this cherished beverage, from its role in ceremonies to its use as a symbol of hospitality.
What you’ll learn: The traditional fermentation and distillation methods, as well as the cultural importance of rice wine in Vietnam.

COOKIE BAKING CLASS

TOPAS RUNNING CLUB
15:00 – 16:00, every Thursday | Start at: Welcome House
Join our Running Club with the Topas Management Team every Thursday at 3:00 PM, starting from the Welcome House. This is not only a chance to enjoy the mountain trails and stay active, but also a great opportunity to get to know our managers and learn more about Topas Ecolodge.
Preparation before the run:
- Wear comfortable sports clothes and proper running shoes.
- Apply sunscreen and insect repellent if needed.
- Warm up 10–15 minutes before the run.
- Average distance 5km | Duration 1 hour
TRADITIONAL MEO FLUTE
16:00 – 18:00 | Location: Infinity Pool (16:00 – 17:00) & Sundown Terrace (17:00 – 18:00)
Every afternoon, Topas Ecolodge invites guests to immerse themselves in Sapa’s rich culture as local flutist, Mr. Tuan, fills the air with enchanting traditional melodies. Enjoy this magical musical moment as the sun sets over the mountains. 🌄
The Traditional Meo Flute, or H’Mong Flute (Sao Meo), is a simple bamboo instrument used by the H’Mong people in Vietnam for music and expressing love. These flutes are characterized by their simple construction with finger holes that allow for complex techniques like pitch bending through breath control.

Sunset at Topas Ecolodge is pure magic — sip your complimentary sundown drink on our terrace as the sky glows over layers of mountain peaks. Rainy day? No worries! We’ll move the party to Inn Bar — the drinks stay free, and the vibes stay cozy.

Experience a magical evening at our Outdoor Bamboo Cinema, where the glow of fireflies and the calm of nature create unforgettable summer memories.

BONFIRE WITH DELICACIES TO ROAST
20:00–21:00 | Inn Bar – Sundown Terrace
After dinner, gather on the Sundowner Terrace for a cozy bonfire experience. Roast sweet potatoes and local corn over the fire for a true taste of Sapa evenings.
If it rains, we’ll move the fun indoors to Inn Bar — the warmth and treats stay the same!
