Through collective participation in agricultural work and folk games, the festival reinforces solidarity, mutual support, and respect for the land that forms the foundation of local identity.
The festival took place on a flat field in Ban Ho commune. This year’s celebration was particularly lively due to warm weather and the participation of numerous domestic and international tourists visiting for the spring season. Once all villagers gathered and preparations were complete, the village priest conducted rituals to bless the harvest, ensure livestock prosperity, maintain community health, and bring good fortune to all things.
Following the ceremonial portion, festival participants enjoyed cultural performances and traditional folk games, including: tug-of-war, fruit throwing contests, etc. These activities created a joyful atmosphere, allowing communities to relax, celebrate together, and actively participate in vibrant cultural expressions.
