RUN TOPAS ECOLODGE – NAM CANG VILLAGE
From Topas Ecolodge we will take you to the start of your adventure in the Tay minority village of Thanh Phu. From here you discover small trails through beautiful terraced fields with endless mountain views. Along the way you will even be able to see Topas Ecolodge higher in the mountains.

Itinerary
From Topas Ecolodge we will take you to the start of your adventure in the Tay minority village of Thanh Phu. From here you discover small trails through beautiful terraced fields with endless mountain views. Along the way you will even be able to see Topas Ecolodge higher in the mountains.
Your first stop is Nam Nhiu village where you will meet Red Dao minority people and your guide can tell you more about this unique culture.
The next section is breathtaking. The trail runs through the middle of the valley which will be full of postcard-perfect terraces dotted with bamboo huts. After crossing a small bridge that was built with support from Topas Travel, you climb a steep hill heading to Nam Cang village.
After a lunch at local house, you can take a short walk around the village to explore the village and learn how the local villagers make writing paper, silver jewelry and colorful embroidery. At 14:15 we will bring you back to Topas Ecolodge.

Note
- The excursion is based on sharing a group of minimum 2 and maximum 10 travelers
- Due to wet condition, running route will be slippery, so the itineraries are subject to change based on that.
What to wear and bring: It is recommended to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, running shoes, and to bring insect repellent, sunglasses, sun hat, and sunscreen.
Attention:
- Please note that during the tour, you may be followed by ethnic women who are eager to sell their handcrafted items. They may follow you throughout your journey. If you are not interested in purchasing, just decline nicely. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
- As described on the program, you will visit a local house, and interact with local people. However, during the seasonal days, they all may not be at home but work in the fields, this experience may be lacking.
- Visiting a local school is also subject to availability of the school calendar.
