What to expect?

This trek will take you to the top of the peak behind the Topas Ecolodge. The trek is a relatively steep uphill climb, but it is rather short. You will pass a village of Red Dao ethnic before taking the steep trail through the thick bamboo forest. From the top of Mount Silverstone, you will have a breathtaking view over the lodge, Ban Ho and Thanh Kim valley. The descent is gentler, where you pass small and very nice remote Black H’mong villages, hidden just outside the forest. This trek is best in dry weather.
