Topas Riverside Lodge

Located deep in the Sapa Valley in the heart of the mountains, Topas Riverside Lodge offers overnight stays in a traditional minority village. A beautiful river runs in front of the lodge which is set amidst verdant green forest. The lodge was built by its owners, a Red Dao minority family, and operates in partnership with Topas Travel. Open since the end of 2013, the lodge’s appeal lies in its simplicity and remote location.

The area sees little in the way of tourism, enabling guests to have an authentic village experience. Here, you can discover the real and remote Vietnam beyond the well-trodden tourist paths of Sapa and witness the friendliness and unique hospitality of the local minority people, who may even welcome you into their private homes. As you watch children splash in the river right next to your lodge, you will have a taste of life in the mountains as it has gone on for centuries.
