Tours in Vietnam
Hanoi tours
Combine a stay at Topas Ecolodge with a tour to discover the ancient capital city of Hanoi. Hanoi has been the historical and political centre of Vietnam for more than 1000 years. Our tours help visitors to understand and explore the origins of Vietnamese culture in a rapidly changing city, where international restaurants and luxury apartments stand alongside ramshackle street food stalls and ancient temples.
Hanoi today retains its ancient heritage and remains. Its bustling Old Quarter in the heart of the city has been a cauldron of commerce for 800 years and is still the best place to check the pulse of this resurgent city.
The Red River Delta surrounds Hanoi with many small ancient handicraft villages, which reflect the once-prosperous wet rice civilisation.
Tours in and around Hanoi city are available throughout the year, with short city tours (one day or half a day) and day tours from Hanoi the most popular as they offer low prices and flexible time arrangements.
Sapa tours
While staying at Topas Ecolodge you can join a number of excursions. If you are interested in hiking, staying in a remote lodge or mountain biking, we recommend booking one of our packages.
We offer a “mountain getaway” package that includes hiking to the beautiful and remote Nam Cang area. For those choosing the room only option at the Ecolodge, we recommend a day tour to Sapa including a visit to Mt Fansipan. If you have other special requests please let us know or visit Topas Travel for details of more tours packages.
Halong tours
Halong Bay is located about 170 kilometers northeast of Hanoi and a tour to the area can be combined with our Sapa Packages. With thousands of pillars of limestone rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin like masterpiece sculptures made by the hand of nature, Halong Bay is probably the world’s most dramatic seascape and undoubtedly one of Vietnam’s most prized natural wonders.
A tour includes one or more nights in a comfortable cabin on a traditional style junk with time spent relaxing on the sundeck while the junk cruises its way around the peaceful bay. There will also be time to hop off the boat and explore the floating fishing village or hideaway caves by kayak, swim in the calm waters of the bay and take in the sunset at one of many small tranquil beaches. Moonlight squid fishing, a tour of the bay’s oyster pearl farm and dining on seafood with spectacular panoramic views of the limestone karsts ensure these tours are a truly special part of any visit to northern Vietnam.
Guests booking the trip together with another tour through Topas Travel will receive a special discount.
